Strategic Directions: TOWARDS 2029

We assisted the new Head of School, Board and Senior Leadership Team at Upper Canada College (UCC) with the development of the school’s 10-year plan, culminating in 2029—their 200th anniversary. This work included an end-to-end strategy project with extensive stakeholder consultation.

A Profound Experience

Utilizing our six step methodology, we worked with the Head of School, Board of Governors, and Senior Leadership Team over nine months to create UCC’s 10-year plan. This included consultation sessions with stakeholders and constituents, a review of historical and current data, a Visioning workshop with the Board and eight workshops with the Senior Leadership Team to finalize and publish the strategy.

Practical Solutions

UCC reconnected with the original purpose of the College and modernized their approach for the 21st century. The strategy development process underscored UCC’s unique role in delivering transformational learning experiences, fostering the development of head, heart and humanity, and inspiring each boy who attends UCC to be his best self.

Bolder Futures

Working with the Head of School in his first year at UCC and the Chair of the Board, we helped UCC envision its future and define how it will continue to play an important and unique role in Canada’s education system.
