The BC Public Service of the Future
We are pleased to announce that Ingrid Bergmann Associates and Berlineaton have joined forces and will be working together more collaboratively with our public sector clients.

To help us understand what products and services might be in demand in the future, early in 2020, we asked 10 Senior BC Public Servants about their Vision for the BC Public Service of the Future.

We discovered six main themes which represent these leaders’ vision for the future of the BC Public Service. We also discovered what gets these leaders most excited about the BCPS and 4 main traits of a great public servant of the future.

Will your organization exist five years from now?
Organizations that thrive excel in three areas:

  • Direction: a clear, widely shared, and aspirational vision of the future and a compelling road map to get there.
  • Process: clear, effective and efficient steps that create meaningful outputs. Daily tasks and deliverables yield their best results when processes are clear and strong, and aligned with organizational objectives. Processes facilitate the alignment of action with direction.
  • People: People make it all happen. People have the skills, capacity, and impetus to translate strategic intent into reality. Ultimately, people and the culture they create drive an organization towards its chosen future.
